Dr. Andy Cornish is an experienced facilitator, and has led many strategic planning processes ranging from organisational strategic plans, to major international programmes with multiple partners, to regional and local projects and campaigns.
He has been the independent assessor for several large national and global programmes, and facilitated strategic planning sessions across a wide variety of charities and SMEs in Hong Kong. He has also been an advisory panel member / grant reviewer for various foundations.
Andy has long been interested in group dynamics and the strategic planning process. He facilitates with humour, transparency and flexibility, while also drawing on his extensive experience to stimulate discussion and ensure that outcomes are useful and on point. He also has a particular passion for targeted advocacy as a tool for achieving transformational change, and has led a number of successful campaigns.
The Open Standards for the Practice of Conservation is a global best practice methodology for designing and executing environmental projects and programmes. Andy is a qualified Coach who has applied the approach and tools to a variety of strategic planning processes including and beyond nature conservation.
